Eudora versions 4.2.0 and lower do not support Outgoing Authentication..

From the Eudora "Tools" menu, choose "Options".

Select "Sending Mail" from the list on the left side.
Under "Sending Mail", on the right side:

Make sure "SMTP Server" is set to mail.turbonet.com

"Allow authentication" must be checked. If it's not, click to check it.

Click "OK".

Find the file eudora.ini (usually in the Windows directory) and open it with Notepad.

In the section label [Settings] add:
SMTPAuthRequired=1
SMTPAuthAllowed=1

Now Save and Exit.
